Our Simple Process
When you are ready to build a better home for a better price, Houston Homes, LLC will make it easy with our five-step process. Schedule a consultation with a community sales consultant to get started.
Initial Consultation
The first step of our building process is getting to know you and your dreams, as well as determining your timeframe and desired spending threshold. This will give us a chance to know each other and help you understand our process.
Houston Homes, LLC makes it a priority to provide comfort and quality with your new home. To get the process started, we will work together to gather necessary information and documentation.
Customized Selections
After the initial consultation, it's time to select your perfect home site and determine the design of your new home. Select one of our excellent Houston Homes, LLC floor plans including the structural options you desire – optional 3-car garage, optional finished lower level, optional dormer, and so on.
Options and custom requests allow buyers to build the home that really fits the way they want to live. This is your home and we allow you all the room you need to make your Houston Home a perfect fit. Once your floor plan is finalized, it’s time to collaborate with our Design Center to select interior and exterior colors and finishes that will make your house truly feel like home.
When Houston Homes, LLC builds on land you own, you’ll meet with our in-house architectural team to design the custom home that best suits your needs, your lifestyle, and your location
Construction
With consultation and creation finished, your new home will now begin to take shape following these construction steps:
Before groundbreaking can begin, the site must be prepared, permits need to be acquired, and funding must be finalized.
Your home's construction process is officially underway.
Your home is now taking shape, as the foundation for the roof and walls are in place.
Pipes, wires and ductwork are being installed in the interior of your home to provide your utilities.
Throughout the construction process, we will work through over 160 inspection points to ensure your home reaches our highest quality standards.
The walls are up, your favorite paint color is dry, and your new home is starting to become what you envisioned.
The last step of the construction process — you're almost past the finish line.
Completion & Closing
The construction of your home is now complete. All that is left to do is to join your Houston Homes, LLC service manager for a closing walk-through and inspection to certify that your new home meets all of your expectations and standards.
Once you sign your paperwork and close on your home, it's finally time to get your keys and settle in.
Move Into Your New Community
After the moving truck pulls away, Houston Homes, LLC ensures each new homeowner is provided with one full year of warranty service managed by our own in-house service team.
Additionally, Houston Homes, LLC will donate $500 of our proceeds to More Than a Home in your name. More Than a Home provides local charities with much-needed funding to support first responders and local families. We hope you'll join us for a celebration, where you can present the charity with a giant check!
